Homework for Easter Break

1. Read chapter 3 "Major Learning Paradigms in Education," completely ( there will be a reading check on Tuesday, April 2)

2. Start reading chapter 4 "Lesson Planning" we will start discussion on that topic on Tuesday, April 2.

Remember that the class is based on the discussion of your questions about the chapters.

Class on Friday

I want to apologize to you because I have a meeting on Friday and therefore there will be no class. Objective: students will be able to identify and  evaluate  the empirical basis of second language teaching and learning.

Guidelines:

1. make groups of three persons each

2. read the assigned material on “Empirical Basis of Second Language Teaching and Learning” chapters 1 and 2

3. Write a summary (hand-written) of the two chapters

4. from the summary, make a video presentation on what you think are those empirical basis and how they affect learning and teaching (your personal point of view supported with facts from the reading.

5. No class on Tuesday, March 5, meet in groups to complete task.
